ABOUT DR. HELENE SHAPIRO

Dr. Helene Shapiro provides comprehensive medical marijuana evaluations to Maryland residents who suffer from both chronic and acute ailments. Using a holistic approach, patients will be treated for their qualifying condition, not just the associated symptoms. During the evaluation, patients will receive education on the various different forms of ingestion for medical marijuana, the differences between THC and CBD based products, and will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Dr. Shapiro will use then use her medical expertise and judgement to determine whether or not the patient will benefit from obtaining a medical marijuana card. The doctor and staff will then develop a plan that includes any necessary follow-up visits, ensuring each patient maintains their legal cardholder status as dictated by the Maryland Medical Marijuana Program.
